Is there a class that can travel to the other sides of DF solo?

In the earlier days that was not huge problem, as we were all buffbotted to hell. How will it be on Phoenix?

I am thinking of which char to level second to have as farmchar/soloRVR when Pop is low or no friends online. A Charakter that can be parked DF, farm a few seals and can even go to alb/midside alone

I started A test with a BD when i50was still up( i failed), but then got interrupted and couldnt Ted a few more times/ways to see if it was just user error

Or is at least a duo needed for that?

Stealthers, maybe some self buffing classes such as Friar. Most classes can get through just requires some trickery and patience.

Warden, friar, stealthers, and necros can all do it with ease. The rest of the classes can be trickier, but it's still very doable. Pot buffs will help immensely.

thanks for the replies, i should have been more clear, i was thinking about midchars...

So with equip/buffpots all chars should be able to do it (if they know what they have to do and no where/when to wait for mobs to move away etc...) ???

Specifically how well can Warrior or Skald (i'll assume SB can do it right? but i have stealthermaxing very far back on my wish-toDO list...so would be great to have my warrior able to farm/roam DF a bit too)

SB can easily do it; you just need to have patience, know how close is too close, and know which mobs have See Hidden. Same for Hunter, should be doable (many many Rangers used to show up at Mid side of DF ALL the time).

Back in the day, my wife soloed all over DF with her Enchanter, only occasionally needing heals from her pet. So a Bonedancer with at least some heals via pets (and lifetap) should be able to make it across as well. BD may be hindered by the number of pets running with them, as the extra tether may pull more mobs than if there was just one pet.

Other than those 3 (SB, Hunter, BD), I don't think you would be successful regularly enough until a higher RR; once you're at a higher RR, your options will open a bit more for solo play in DF.

On Uthgard, I could easily get to the other side of DF with my unbuffed solo BD once he had a template.

Skald can do it by out running and tethering mobs, but can be tricky.
