Healer's offensive option? - Phoenix Freeshard

Druids get pet/dot/root, cleric gets smite, what do healers get? I never understood why they never had some offensive ability. Are the self buffs in Aug at par with the other realm healers?

They get more CC than any other class in the game. Their offense is nullifying the enemy.

Root, mez (single aoe), stun (single aoe), spamable amnesia (single aoe).
Heals, buffs.

They are THE utility class in DaoC.
Hib/Alb dream of having a class holding that much (needed) utility.

Edit: Forgot demez, but kinda proves my point. So much needed utility I can't even remember it all.

Not speaking to offensive group options

Aug healer self dmg add , and Adrenaline rush. If you spec right you can get some pretty fun solo kills.

They do have an RA that doubles their base damage for 30 seconds or so. I wouldn't recommend it but for only the ever rare solo aug healer aka Monkeys.
I would consider Celerity an offensive spell too.

Actually, Going purge 3, Bof 3-5, Adrenaline 3 Moc3 Is better. Cycles them all at the same time. Then some Mop/AugStr ^^ . Stealth killer spec, if they dont vanish or any adds. Sure the fight takes 2 mins but you win.
