Healer Aug and Pac builds

Hey, what are the usual builds for Aug and Pac healer? I am 27 now and did half mend / half aug so far. I'd like to play in Thid + the following BGs and the endgame ofc, PvP and some PvE as needed. I assume I am better at playing in the back so I guess I am better suited as Aug healer. But maybe running in the front as Pac healer is fun as well.

While we are at it. Does any experienced healer has a good keyboard setup to manage so many skills? Either healer have to have 4 hands, play with two keyboards or I am missing something. Is anybody using macros for it (interested in allowed macros only).

Regards, Edelherb

44 pac 31 mend - is the full pac build. Red aoe mezz and instant aoe stun for an additional cooldown. the instant aoe stun is quite tricky to use, but it has a very small radius so with a bit of luck you can isolate a bard with it anyway. has the cheapest spread heal, which is nice.
36 pac 40 mend - goes pac just high enough to get instant aoe mezz to increase healing output (and manacost, especially on spread, which makes it a double edged sword) and adds faster cure NS utility.
34 pac 41 mend - if you're the best pac and can reliably fish out bards, minstrels and sorcs with just your single target instants. the only benefit of this is the 41 spec heal which is so strong it's basically just an overkill at that point. would not recommend.

aug follows a similar scheme.
40 aug 35 mend - gotta go fast. downgrades your heals in favor of yellow resists and 2% stronger haste. the main benefit of this is to keep your heal manacosts lower. you can get mend to 36 for a bigger group heal or put the points into pac to get an aoe interrupt with your grey aoe mezz, which is situationally useful when you know a bunch of casters already have mezz timers.
36 aug 40 mend - yellow cele and spirit resist. this ups your manacosts, but gives you the faster cure NS.
33 aug 42 mend - just enough for yellow body resist, gives you that 42 spec heal which is extremely mana efficient for massive heal output.

as for keybinds, really just gotta find out what's comfortable for you and utilize all the alt/ctrl modifiers and use /qbind macros to bind abilities to extra keys.

what spec is recommended for a newbie Healer? im about to hit 50 and ive been aiming for 40 Aug 36 Mend mostly cause im unsure if i could pull of the fast mezzing in fights and i like resists buffs.

If you to aug, I would go 40 mend 36 aug for the 3sec cure ns

As pac, I would go tri spec (when you get better at healer), 36 pac/35 mend/19 aug

My tri spec is 38 PAC, 33 mend, 19 Aug and I love this build. All insta mezz and stuns, yellow pom, 34% melee haste and strong heals

Celerity !=haste. Haste changes damage done per swing to keep DPS the same, celerity increase swing speed without changing damage per swing, increasing damage per second.

Tri-spec as well, it's awesome and a very busy task. Using MOF to up the level of the spells.

Might just be me, and keep in mind that im not playing healer on this server, but not having the 3 sec cure NS would be very frustrating.

I'd take that over the instant AoE stun or higher haste and energy resist any day.

38 pac 33 mend 19 aug as mentioned above.
Gives you better buffs. Celerity for if you are only healer or aug healer is tied up and good heals. Only downside is the cure ns is the slow 6s cast.

Very effective otherwise though.
