https://playphoenix.online/charplan/?class=Berserker&level=50&realmRank=30&view=skills&s21=24&s61=37&s77=37&s80=50

Raise/lower mainhand skills to maintain an effective 52 skill and adjust parry with leftover points.

Axe and sword are mostly interchangable only if you don't mind losing the +1 badassery points because axes are awesome and swords are a girly weapon.

Troll w/ 15 str 10 quick or 10 str/con/quick

Can you please explain why you prefer axe vs. sword? Is it just aesthetics? Thanks.

A big mean burley doublebladed battleaxe is a symbol of manley virility (two blades. Two chicks at the same time, yeah?)

Swords are a weapon for the weak and frail, like women and children.

"Speak softley and carry a large axe. That way when somebody says something stupid you can cleave that sumbitch in twain."

I was writing this to some guy in pm some time ago, might help you too.

So lets start with the spec:

Obviously 50 left axe as you are using left axe styles.

You want Conquer for backstyle snare (29 hammer), and you want to be able to switch between crush damage and slash damage. On Phoenix, you need 52 combined skill for the weapon.

If you are rr5, thats means your spec +11 +4 needs to be 52.

So spec at rr5 should be 50 la, 37 hammer 37 sword/axe, rest parry.

And then lets think about gear:

Main hand weapon should be as slow as possible. There are 3 possible weapons: crafted axe is 4.2, crafted hammer is 4.1, TG skald sword (s/c debuff proc) is 4.2.

Left axe should be as fast as possible. Crafted left axe is 2.9, there are ROG drops at 2.7 or 2.4. So best left axe would be a 99% or MP 2.4 ROG with lifetap proc. That might be rather hard to get. Easiest solution would be crafted.

Procs on weapons: on crafted weapons use spirit DD proc.

Best armor is TG chest and rest crafted. Use epic ablative reactive procs on all armor. Maybe a DD charge on gloves or boots for interrupts or you can use /switch command to get another item in from inventory for the charge.

Jewelry: just about 50+ uti rog should be enough (look for single skill utility). Feather items only if you want a specific offensive charge (there is a d/q debuff charge for example). buff charges you can use from inventory, so shouldnt be part of your sc.

I changed my mind on dd procs since then and used cold procs on my own berserker (considering racial resists of enemies).

For race and starting stats i used dwarf and 15 str 10 con.
