You're right that 50 Scythe is a waste and that 44 Scythe is the way to go. More and more I'm leaning away from Parry and into Arb. In RvR you're mostly attacking casters/support, ie people who aren't attacking you, so you won't get a chance to evade/parry them.

Since I don’t wanna open a new thread I hope it‘s fine to use this one instead.
Does the abla proc buff stack with epic mhb armor procs? I‘m leaning towards 44/43/23 for solo/smallman.
What are the must have feather items besides the robe? Besides legion heal/mhb buff.

My guess
One would overwrite the other
But I think you would increase the chance to proc
