What is the spec most people are going at 50 for a valewalker? I haven't really looked into to much and trying to find out plan on talking mine straight to 50.

This is pretty much cookie cutter and the one I run. There was another spec that someone once said 44 scythe (for back stun) 46 arb (for 20% disease) and 17 parry, but I personally couldn't bring myself to lose the ws for the increase 5% chance for disease to proc.

Ya i would rather have the higher weapon skill. Made a firby vw and really liking him. With him being a firby probably better to go 50 scythe over the 5% disease. How are they for solo farming? Mine is only 16 atm and i am killing oj's no problem and hitting for like 26% a hit with the taunt style... Also what scythe would be best at 50 to use.

VW can chain pull oranges with ease and with very little down time. Scythe wise, kinda depends, solo I prefer a quicker scythe so I can get reactionaries off, but grouped and buffed I go slower so it's more front load damage. But that's just me.

Between firby and celt i shouldn't see much of a difference right. I figured with it being classic and can't cap with percentage more based off looks at this point.

Unless you a min maxer then go with what looks good to you, I tried playing a half ogre merc here but had to delete because I couldn't stand the way they ran. I went sylvan for my vw for the extra int, but they look so thin and weak.

I enjoyed the 44Scythe, 46 Arb spec when I played my VW, like I said, I didn't notice a difference in the 50 to 44 scythe weapon skill because Phoenix uses a middle ground weapons kill for everyone with very small gain for going high and very small fall off for going low.

While it says only 5% more chance to proc it felt a lot higher, it seemed to go off every other swing in PVP. The better ablative proc was also nice for 1v1s as well as well as the red dot being resisted a lot less.

Been playing my Warden lately but I think I am going to try a VW keep defender spec of 50 Arb, 39 Scythe, 18 Parry. because again, the Phoenix weapon skill change is very minimal compared to how old live use to be.

I might give the 44 scythe a try then, still got a while till my 24 hours played lvl is up, see how it's like.

Only two viable specs:
50 scythe, 38 arb, 20 parry
Forgot exactly but something like 15dmg and like 2% better hit chance. 5% more parry chance. 5% less disease chance.

44scythe, 48(ish) arb, 10 parry
Along with the vice versa from above: 20 more abla, 5% more haste, better snare/dot.

You can do either, but need to use swing speed calc to make sure you're at 1.5 and not over/under cap'd. Depends on race, starting stats, and weapon speed.

But honestly, you want to be swinging as fast as possible even without haste up (2min cooldown). So you want to use a 3.5spd weapon all the time. That being said, if you're celt with 10 quick, you can cap at 1.5spd with yellow haste from 38 arb spec. Ergo, 48 arb red haste does nothing and you can take that out of the equation when deciding.
