Played alb mainly on all these freeshards, going to try and switch it up, loved my vw on live, eden ect. I know 8's will never invite me, there's no 2 part side chain and frontal 2 chain, the run to emain is junk. What other hardships are going to make me roll my friar like usual? TY
Thinking of rolling a Valewalker, change my mind.

7 Sec Backstun, Lifetap with MoC (!!!), Absorb of chain, Scythe is better then staff of wood...

With det and ichor they're much more grp friendly now. Still not meta but definately viable. Good utility and burst damage. Just don't use your snare on tanks or you'll upset your grp

Definetly good in a tank group
Not so much in an hybrid / caster group because they lack any peeling ability, but you can really put pressure with your damage

Well they have some peeling ability, side stun, back stun. just not as easy as slam and no spamable snare styles. that's why BM is always king, best dps, best peel.
But, having some interrupts, ranged damage and ichor gives them something different that could be fun
