Starting new after many years - Questions!

Just started to play here and plan on doing NS and solo champ. I know its gonna be tough but never been into group play or playing mages.
Now I got some questions where I couldnt find answers in the wiki and maybe some nice folks could help me

1) Do I really need to carry around 8-10 LWs as Champ, Blades and Blunts and with different Procs, to be effective? I was like, okay I get a Lifesteal on them and Im good to go.

2)One reason I HATED playing live was ppl using 20 different items each fight. Now I think I saw they removed charges from dropped items like e.g. Pookha Lords Mantle as in this case there are nearly effective Combined Forces Buff pots available for everyone. Did I get this right?

3)In regard to my second question, I heard there is a craftable damage add charge here, which you put on like Lvl 1 MP Cloth cause its cheaper to produce them new than to recharge. This sounds quite "must-have" to use in a duel, but are there any other must-haves charges or actives I need to know? I hope not, so it would be nice to know BEFORE I take the long road to 50

4) In Thid I saw someone healing himself for like 20% during a fight. Just supposed it wasnt IP, is there any other way or trick to heal yourself within combat? Afaik heal pots do NOT work while being in combat right?

Greetings

Welcome!
1. Not necessarily 8-10. I don't play champ, but on my paly I carry one fast and one slow 2H, for Champ this would be 4 weapons for having the possibility of switching between slash/crush depending on inc.
2./3. There are a few charges available (dd/DA/heal/ablative...), but they all share the same timer, so you have to decide which you want to use. Buff charges got removed, so you are fine with combined pots. Most charges are crafted and easy to come by, and buff charges can be used from your inventory. Only offensive charges like dd need to be applied to armor parts.
4. Heal pots work while in combat. There are two types, one instant with lower delve and one with a 3sec cd which requires you to put away your weapon before using it.

Thank you!
And thanks for perfectly answering all my questions
One charge-item per fight is acceptable I think.
So off to level my champ!

You need more charge items! you need legion heart for heal and a cape for endurance value 80 + endureg pots + heal pots :-). you will notice that you
get very fast trouble with your endu in the battle ^_^ and if you prefer solo play is champion rly good choice but if you want more grouping then is a
hero/bm/valewalker the better choice!

Me again with another question
But first, thx for all your answers!
Is it possible to Slam/Annihilate, wait til Purge or Cooldown, Static Tempest, Annilhilate/Slam, wait for next tick of ST and Annihilate/Slam again to get round about 30sec of Stun cause ST deletes all immunity?

ST delete only with one tick the immunity to 100% if you good time the static with first tick then you can enemy stun with duration from 18 til 20 secondes.
