Ranger Spec: Since Potions / Charges Strong Do I Want Any PF?

Just curious since potion barrels and charges like +75 dex/qui seem to be the normal for solos and stealth to run is there any reason to even go in PF at all? I know the damage add is nice and effects bow here but with being able to go so much higher in CD and weapons is any PF even worth it?

Was looking at a spec like 40 Bow, 44CD. 34 Weap, 35 Stealth.

Also id there much of a damage difference or reason to go 45bow over 40? does rapid fire 2 have a good use?

Thanks

Rapid Fire uses less endurance. I think that's the only difference. The boost in damage is marginal at best.

My own posts about PF actually being worth it applied to blades melee rangers. I would expect that for high-archery + pierce rangers, it would be far less worth it, and your spec should be fine.

My recommendation is to start at 36 PF and see how you like it. The buffs are pretty solid at that level and the Damage Add works well for melee or Archery at that level as well. The point buy for 36 PF isn't too bad still allowing plenty of points elsewhere. Try it out, then adjust your PF spec up or down from there. You get free respecs up to level 49 so you're not risking much until you hit level 50.

Do you know how much to + stats the potions give here? I know on Uthgard is was only +20base, +30spec. What do the barrles give? the 4 bases, and 2 specs? Thanks
