Anything to know about Ranger leveling? Anything I shouldn't put points into because of auto train? I want to play a Celt also.

You can spec however you like, as auto train happens automatically regardless of spec. As far as what to do, I would recommend high melee, and pathfinding for leveling, while using the bow to pull. No need for stealth while leveling.

Great thank you is there an order between pierce, blades, and CD? Thanks very much.

Blades is a better damage type for RvR, for the most part, but that pierce has some good styles. Including the evade stun at level 25. I would recommend pierce or blades close to level (whichever you prefer), PF after that, and then CD.

Best ranger leveling suggestion? Delete and roll and nightshade...

Ok exaggeration but...Phoenix is not very ranger friendly. You should prob really love the class or your will be disappointed and re-roll. I've only got mine to Caledonia BG level so far but...

Here are some of the quirks working against you...

-No camo...and stealth disadvantage
-Plenty of chances for arrows to miss..blocked, parried, evaded, blade turn, intercepted by pets (SM)
-Low damage output compared to spells, melee styles
-Non standard things interrupting your shot reactionary procs on armors.
-Wide availability of buff potions and charged items minimizes the value of the pathfinding line.
-Not desired in most groups

Landing two shots in a row...you almost have to be lucky. If you are not interrupted or otherwise stymied by the 3rd shot then someone is sleeping or not playing attention to you. BTW you are not going to 2 shot anyone (unless you they are much lower level).

With all that said, I am playing my ranger and will to 50 because I love the class and a challenge. Just know what you are getting yourself into...
