Group joined up for raid, left bg mid raid. Got loot from three bosses. All of it. Even if they were to hand it over to the raid leader it cant be put in Chester.
Like shit, this is stealther KS legion all over again.
Kick them out if not in BG, or can't collect loot if not in BG. Something to not screw the rest of us over.
regularly happens, even without malice, just through people LDing and forgetting to rejoin BG Cercei (long time raidleader in midgard) often had a person in discord constantly checking the battlegroup to make sure people rejoined etc....sometimes issuing reminders and warnings until everyone is back in BG
If the group did it intentionally (hard to prove) and/or kept the loot after being asked to hand it out they broke the rules, and GMs will probably punish them if reported. Raidleader can also blacklist them from future raids and get them ported out/punished should they decide to tag along despite being asked to leave
I am unsure how it would be handled if there were actually 2raids going for it at the same time...who would have the "right" to loot. The ones first pulling the boss? Or the ones killing the adds on the way to the boss? Pretty grey area, but with application of common sense it would probably be easy for GMs to spot who is the one just building a raid and who is the one trying to spite others just cause they can
