Champion Groups

Decided to start with a Champ on Hib. Are champs good for groups in rvr? I’m not really interested in doing a ton of soloing for rvr. If it’s like some classes that I’ve heard are literally never used in groups, I’d rather choose another class to level first as my main goal is group rvr.

I'd re-roll if you don't want to solo rvr, champs do well in the solo scene but in groups heroes and bms do the job better. There's are reason why they are one of the least played classes.

Pretty much that. Although imo a well played champ can outperform a well played bm.

A badly played bm can still wreck shit, but a badly played champ can even hurt your grp.

So ppl wilm never invite you, unless they know you can make your champ spin. Which they will never know, since you are just starting out.

So if you want to play a champ, play a different caracter first, make yourself a reputation, and then try to join grps on your champ.

I suggest u have fun on your champ in the battlegrounds meanwhile. Champ needs a crapton of realmrank anyways.

Thanks for the help. Not really sure about the soloing because all my rvr experience was always in groups. Might be good to learn the soloing aspect of the game at some point though.

I would argue a champ on a melee train brings more than a hero does.

Vw champ bm train with an animist and the 4 nat setup has a ton of utility and healing, and damage and would be a nasty group, especially with some RRs under their belt.
