Just with the addition of Determination for hybrid tanks, a lot of classes became more viable in group combat.
You won't see Champ is classic cookie cutter set ups, but with Det alone you'll see a lot more flexibility in melee assist trains. I'm more of the mindset that says play what class you enjoy playing, and it will work itself out. You'll end up finding a guild that would be more than happy to group with you once you're lvl 50.
