Best Large Weapon to obtain?

I've decided to spec LW on my Hero. What Large weapon should I be gunning for? Dragon? Crafted? If crafted what damage type should I be using for proc? Tyvm for any replies.

Crafted big shillelagh. Real Hibs hit their foes with a big chunk of tree.

I used to use one on live, and constantly had people message me to ask where I got it. They were positive it was a one time drop, and they wanted it.

For DPS the verdant mace is the slowest in the game at 5.6 speed so you will hit the hardest with it, knobled great hammer is also nice for the 4.0 speed if you're trying to peel with it and it has a DPS proc.

For sword you will want a player craft or the primal great shard for 5.5 speed.

Tyvm for the information! I actually ended up making a weaponless template that I'm currently working on the armor for. I'll use all of these!

depending on how badly you need the points, and how much plat you have to spare, both the knobled great hammer and verdant mace share stats of

+15 strength
+ 5 large weapons
+ 3 parry

So you could template that in as your 'weapon'. This means you have to SC a large weapon sword, but it saves you a lot of points.
