Hey, i would like to know what you think is the best viable setup of the two wenn considering the following:
We just wanna make this group for fast leveling and farming. We will make rvr toons later.
I also want to be able to solo farm (on either animist or enchanter) so solofarmability (is that a word?) is also important.
We want to be able to farm as a trio and also sometimes in full groups (focuspull or animist pet groups)

Setup 1:
Enchanter (me), Druid, Mentalist (my 2 friends)
Setup 2:
Animist (me), Druid and Mentalist (my 2 friends)

So any pros and cons on the 2 setups mentioned would be great

Are those your only options? Because my favorite 3-man PvE is animist, ranger, warden. Animist plants, ranger draws critters into range, warden assists between buffs, heals, and backup DPS.

Other strategies might prefer an enchanter over the animist, but for this strategy (draw critters into the /facemelt zone) is hands-down animist.

Yeah we are pretty much set on either of the two setups since we would also like to expand our group easily.

ive also got some input from discord and am now pretty set on enchanter since people suggested its easier to expand that group over the animist one.
Also speed, more mobility while pulling/leveling (since you dont have static turrets) and even the possibility to buff lowbie friends as a chanter (lets say i stay at 49.9) when respeccing to enchanting for that.

so if there doesnt come an overwhelming plus point for the animist until saturday morning, we are set.

Enchanter and Mentalist are quite capable solo as well when your three man doesn't play together-- Druid not so much. Why not switch the druid to a warden, you won't sacrifice much in heals and gain the bubble. Enchanter pulls, mana ment uses HoTs to heal while keeping aggro on pet and dots to burn down the group pull. warden has bubble for broken aggro and spot heals after pet has solid aggro, adds another speed song and can peel mobs with positionals which the druid cannot do-- With taunt (and a FAST weapon) he can also replace the pet against one or two tough opponents. A solo warden specced correctly can kill things no other class in the game can hope to attempt--- they're incredibly tanky and self sufficient. My dad ran one and was soloing mini-bosses in Cursed forest and later artifact bosses in ToA (granted it took 10 minutes + per kill...).. Plus it is just a hell of a lot more fun to be able to do more than just heal and all he is giving up is the top heal and spec buffs (and a warden and mentalist can cover the healing a druid would've done).
