Which crafting is worth picking up?

Hi all. Trying to get my first lgm skill on mid. Thinking of going alchemy so I can make my own potions and reactives. I have 3 chars I need to alchemy and pretty much only rvr with them. potions seems pretty reasonably priced on AH, reactives by nature are expensive.

I did make a trinketer and that was definitely worth it.

Is alch worth picking up? Would sc be better?

From what I understand, you can craft all lines on a single character, so I guess all of them?

Alch is good to have, even if just for personal use, but is a decent money maker since everybody needs pots and many people are too lazy to level a trade.

SC is really cheap here since it's so fast to make all the gems, it's not going to be a plat printing machine like it was on Uth, but you can make a couple hundred gold for 20m of work.
