Crafting whilst levelling

Is it worth crafting gear whilst levelling, or will ROGs be so common as to make it pointless? I'm thinking specifically in the 30-50 level range after the group size buff to ROG drop chance is removed, and for a more casual player/guild, due to my work my game and therefore grouping time can bea bit erratic.

Level anytime you can get into a group and craft when you have nothing else to do.

IMO.

I don't think that any crafted armor or weapon could be better then ROG items onestly. I'm still gonna invest time in crafting while leveling though so to be able to salvage all the sweet loot and get to level 50 with some gold.

Alch can be useful at lower levels and fleching is good for archers, of course. Other than that crafting isn't really used until 50 except for salvaging.

I'm LGM WC and 600+ in tailor and AC and have yet to receive a single commission for crafting anything not max level template gear.

I am 730 alch and it is useful for potions.... I just craft while waiting for group.. it has cost me about 1 plat so far
