Acuity and Templates

I'm a new Spellcrafter and am wondering if I need to be putting acuity in my caster templates. I haven't heard it talked about before and don't see it on my in game character stats or on any version of Loki I've downloaded.

acuity is just your generic caster-stat

the stat itself doesn't exist on characters, but for example for a midgard healer acuity will increase his piety.

I believe when spellcrafting you do not craft acuity, but the real stat that you want

What sepp said. It's basically there for item homogenization between realms and classes.

It was first actually introduced in Trials of Atlantis I think, or maybe even later. Thats why you still see high-level SI raid items with charisma, emphaty etc instead of Acuity.
