Which caster other than Theurg?

Hey everyone, exciting day for daoc fans!

I played DAOC way back at launch, and honestly, had no idea what was going on. let's just say I wandered around and tried to kill things

Well, I am back and looking for a fresh start as a caster-type class. At release, I played Theurgist so I want to shy away from them. What are your thoughts on the other caster classes? Not a beginner to MMO's but also don't want to rip my hair out trying to play. And, something that is somewhat solo(er) friendly.

Ideas?

Sorc. Root, bolt range mez, pet, pom, speed, ligetap, good ras, demzz iirc.

I second Sorcerer. It's what I'm playing actually. Loving just charming whatever mob I want, and never losing charm. The run speed, the mana regen buff its nice to cast on passers by. Mezzing with a QuickCast if I get into too much trouble.

Are you only playing alb? If yes Sorc is a really well rounded caster.

If looking at other casters, Dark/supp RM can really shine; speed, NS (blue), 219 delve dd, bolt, pbt, root.
