Resist Yield on Skill and Magic since last week

Dear All,

I faced lot of stranges issues regarding Resist yield on Bolt Earth Wizzard / Drain on Cabby / Levia proc and parry on Reaver....

If you faced those issues too please share

i have test in duel 100 life drain on cleric lvl 50 sc + résist

Lifedrain spell lvl 50 (i have 39+18) in specs

for 100 lifedrain

First duel : 38 résiste

Second duel : 31 résiste

In rvr many time i cast débuff + drain... like 3 drain and 3 résist.

When i use Quickcast = 50% résist with all spell.

So acutally for sur, it's not 12.50 % résist on phoenix. it's more

Your test / duel result for casting a spell that has a listed resist chance of 12.5% 100 times in a row is impossible, to emphasize: not unlikely but literally impossible.

The highest possible amount of resists over 100 casts in a row with a 12.5% listed resist chance is 16, the lowest is 10.

Also please note that the resistance against a damage type is only for the damage / duration but it has nothing at all to do with the rate a which a spell is resisted entirely.

Then you should have no issue showing a combat log where you cast a single spell (that has a listed resist chance of 12.5%) 100 times in a row with more than 16 of those 100 being a resist. It doesn't even have to be close to your 38 or 31, just 17 would suffice.

Maybe the misunderstanding here is in the difference between spelllevel (for resistcalculations) and speclevel (for damagecaclulations)

As there is no MoF ( MAstery of Focus, Realm ability) level that gives +18 you are probably talking about SPEClevel, which doesn't influence resistcalculations. So unless you have very high MoF, you are not testing a 12,5%-resistchance spell
