Reaver viability

I haven’t played alb in 15 years how are Reavers in PVE/RVR? Can they solo ok in pve ? Can they get groups in in rvr ? Are they underpowered/overpowered?

Imho:
Reaver in PvE is easy: Pull a mob, slam, levi to death. Rinse & repeat.

Reaver in RvR is both easy (see PvE considering your enemy does not have purge (up)), stick + levi (stuff just dies if it doesn't get healed) but also harder (no aura usage due to breaking cc, no style that could be considered an anytime snare, no stoicism, etc.).

Most RvR groups will propably prefer merc/arms if melee. You're not useless but here are others which can do your job better.

Just a reminder the ABS debuff aura does NOT break CC. I've tested this many times and it is the only aura that doesnt.

i soloed to 50 with 0 problem solo after 32, i have been out in rvr in uppland and killing yellow enemies quite nicely!

had a rr5 skald jump me today from behind, at the end of the fight and 1437 rps later he was dead and me at 60% hps

Do reavers need to "twist" auras a lot in combat or is it best to stick with one?

Twist auras and don't forget cancel last one or you will run OOP fast.
