New Merc Question

Hey guys, just made a new Merc and looking for some advice. I'm gonna be leveling in groups so can someone guide me as to where I should put my points while leveling?

Also, are there any guides out there for merc specs once I hit 50 for rvr? I haven't been able to find much consensus.

Pretty simple - while leveling spec full weapon (your choice) full shield. Groups often tend me be pretty meta and focus on PBAE. If you feel like you super need that DW though you can respec for free while leveling (you get respec all for free for every 24hrs /played on that level).

At 50 you go 42 shield, max DW, composite weapon to 52, rest parry.
