Hello, just theory crafting but this is what I was coming up with so far:

[1] Cleric
[2] Cleric
[3] Minstrel
[4] Armsman
[5] Cabalist
[6] Theurgist
[7] Sorcerer
[8] ??

The reasoning being I think Albion excels at a well piloted kite/extend caster group with 3 classes having built in pets and Theurgist also having castable pets. Still unsure about 8th slot, possibly another Sorcerer specialized more so for damage then utility.

Isn't it going to depend on the specs of each class and what there role will be? Do you really need the armsman or would adding more ranged dps be better? Another cabalist and/or another sorcerer might be good.

Hey thanks for the feedback, currently I thought the Armsman would fit in really well with their soldier's barracade RA for the caster group along with basically being CC immune thanks to DET9 + Stoicism where they would fill the role of strictly peeling and providing support for the backline, however I did wonder if another caster/ranged dps would prove to be more worthy. I'm not sure how most 8mans on Albion function but I figured Cabbys role would be nearsighting targets and providing BODY damage debuff for the sorc, so maybe another high body spec sorc could be really strong. That would bring the lineup to be:

[1]Cleric: Higher enh for Acu
[2]Cleric: Higher rejuv
[3]Minstrel: Overall nuisance/rupts
[4]Cabalist: NS + Debuffer
[5]Theurgist: Overall nuisance/rupts
[6]Sorc (higher mind): CC & Utility
[7]Sorc (higher body): High DMG + backup CC/utility
[8]Armsman OR potentially another Cabalist?

Armsman
Pros: More survivability with snares and stuns.
Cons: Could miss out on overall DMG to caster assist train.
Potential to be singled out and targeted.

Cabalist
    Pros: More caster assist damage
    Provides disease to targets
    Cons: Another squishy target.

I'd like to see a merc in that 8th slot. Slam, DW dmg, det9, pretty nice if you ask me.

The only reason I was leaning more towards the Armsman was for the Soldiers Barracade RA, and the polearm damage is comparable however I am now considering if Cabalist would be the most beneficial in this setup. Anyone have experience with this setup?

Enh Cleric. Stun/back up heal
JUV Cleric Heal cure ns
Sorc Mez/ demez/interrupt/assist Tank Train
Minstrel Speed/Demez/stun/interrupt
Theurg/ interrupt/assist Tank Train
Paladin End/slam/peal/rez/ assist Tank Train
Arms/merc Die
Arms/merc Die

When I did 8 man on 1.87 our main group looked something like this. Course it wasn't a weird custom 1.65 server like this one.

I had a pole arms and a cleric at the time. Ideally you kill the casters/healers/ first and then take your time killing the tanks at the end.

Root the tanks, stun the tanks, mez the tanks, snare the tanks. But don't hurt them. Kill the shit out of the casters and the healers.

1/ Cleric Buff oriented
2/ Cleric Heal oriented
3/ Sorc Mind
4/ Minstrel (SOS)
5/ Theurgist
6/ Merc
7/ Merc
8/ Cabalist (but not sure yet about this 8th slot)

I always thought that the most versatile grp for Alb through ALL the patches would be:

Cleric - ench
Cleric - mend
Sorc - Mind/Body
Cabalist - Trispec
Minstrel - op
Theurgist - 41 ice/35 earth
Mercenary - SLAM spec
Paladín/Armsman - If you can run without endo go arms.

This IMO is the most versatile setup in the Game. You can play the kite/pullback strategy, push in with 3 melee rupters + ice pets, handle zergs with múltiple CCers, tons of utility like SOS, aoe disease, pom, múltiple pets..

I don't know man, people Will probably disagree with me, but If you look at all the tools you have on that setup there isn't any other challenging It.

Excuse me for bad english etc

Thanks for all the input so far everyone, one more arising question. Will 2 clerics have enough concentration to buff the entire group and what about any spare conc for pets? Thanks again.
