How are Envenom Infiltrators for leveling?

How do max Envenom infiltrators perform for PVE/leveling?

Example, at level 20:

Thrust - 20
Envenom - 20
Dual Wield - 12

Maybe get Viper 3? Extra 20% damage

Of course if your poisons get resisted, you're probably screwed.

You get lots of +skills items, so don't bother to spec Thrust equal to your level. Same goes for envenom. Just monitor how much +skills you have and train appropriately each level to keep a high enough level dot.
The DoT ticks pretty slowly, so I wouldn't bother with Viper. I leveled solo from 1-50 and until the mid 40s I was high DW, high Thrust, medium Envenom and all my points after LW1/Tireless1 went into MoPain.
Put envenom on a second weapon (2h slot) so if your first one gets resisted you can use that (works well too for accidental aggro of another mob).
This might be a bug (I should check the tracker) but the WS/Con debuff appeared to have zero effect on mob's damage or absorption.

Strange, Ws/con debuff increases mob damage 10-15% for me.

I have been leveling solo to 24 with high env, high thrust, no stealth, leftowers in dw. Has been ok, but I Imagine other builds might be better.

I have not tested if this works on Phoenix, but it used to be a thing to use envenoms above your level if you have enough +skill to do so.

If you spec 20 envenom on level 20 and have +5 from items, you'd be able to use level 25 envenoms. Thats a pretty decent boost to your damage.

You can kill pretty tough enemies with DOT+snare and kite.

You can also keep multiple envenomed weapons in your inventory and reaply envenom every swing to use it basically as a dmg add. You should keep multiple weapons anyways, in case you get resisted or get extra aggro/adds.
