Friar Specs - Phoenix Freeshard

Looking mostly for zerg/small-man play (likely w a Reaver and maybe 1 more).

Somebody suggested this spec https://playphoenix.online/charplan/?class=Friar&level=50&realmRank=30&view=skills&s21=11&s25=32&s41=45&s49=34 in the Hybrid Changes thread and it seems to me like it may be the best for my situation considering I will have a reaver for DPS rolling w me (thus not necessitating a high staves spec) but am curious to hear what you folks think.

You’re gonna have a hard time at low RR hitting stuff, seems like a good spec once you hit RR6 and comp 51.

First of all, isn't it awesome work the devs did on the charplan? Good job! Not sure if all the rrs are showing prereqs or not but its pretty freaking awesome so far.

I think you can probably rock that spec, all i did was spam evade with back up taunt so either of those should be ok. Sure you won't be max dmg but it may not matter.

If you find it isn't your cup of tea then use your free full respec and raise ur staff up and lower juv.

I think the proc is actually handy for pve but when you are fighting that ns and you are diseased the proc isn't going to be as useful as hammering him into the dirt as hard as possible.

How about 44 staff 45 enh 18 juv and 7 parry?

Slowest staff as possible just do evade with taunt back up and if they ignore you do the side stun chain or if u are able to do the run through straff nonsense.

The best healing is a dead enemy imo.

Thanks for the feedback Afludan, Relvi, and Florin! I'm excited to have a chance to try this class with the changes they made. I'm no stranger to playing gimped classes, so I think I will be able to find a lot of fun in this. Can't wait for the server to go live!

I'm thinking of going 39 staff 45 enhance 25 rejuv 12 parry. Going to mostly just be dou pve farming with a buddy. He is going either reaver or pally. Not sure if I should lower the rejuv and go 44 staff.

Im going for this as a more healing Friar. Red resist, strong healing and a sidestyle snare for peeling if needed. Ofc its not viable as a solo spec but thats my try on a friar atm
