Are you doing the pve 10 item kill item tasks? You will get a full level per turn in before level 38 or so? Yes in the 40s it get's really slow to level, but before that it's very easy and fast. In the 40s you want to focus on the kill 15 of each type of mob because they give like 0.5 bubs of xp per completion and then those tasks reset each day...so only do about the first 3 or so levels at most per day, then wait until the next day.
