Did heal pets for sorc work? - Phoenix Freeshard

Hey guys.

Sorry I also asked this question in the PVE section, but do you know if heal pets work for sorc when things go live the 12th?

I'm afraid they changed something in the beta-test, where I made a lowbie sorc for chilling and noticed the heal pet didnt heal anymore - could be wrong though.

Or are heal pets for sorc/mincer only an Uthgard thing?

If a mob has a heal and is charmed it should heal the group. This is likely a case where the mob you charmed doesn't have a heal. You can try reporting those mobs on the tracker.

Heal pets are largely ineffective here it seems. Nothing close to what we've seen before. Huge cast times and small heals.

Yes all heal pets are custom and useless here. They heal for like 80 here while they heal for 300 on uthgard.

What sort of “GM assessment” are you asking for? They know they nerfed the shit out of charmable pets. The OP most likely charmed something other than a Devout Filidh or encountered an uncommon bug as they definitely cast base AF and spam heal for 18 when you or a group mate are below 50%.

I don't think it is a good idea to compare to Uthgard. 300 Heals from a pet would cause serious balancing-problems. I understand how that would be attractive as a minstrel/sorc/mentalist but think about others too

I recall, long ago, that grove nymphs heal. Now, when you're below 50%, they attempt to heal you (spam it actually) but the effect doesn't go through and there is a message that says "you are already fully healed" or something.

On Live, by comparison, I've noticed a few weird issues with charmed pets healing as well. Message reads something like "you can't heal while Ascended" and the spell isn't attempted.
