Decimation Trap - Phoenix Freeshard

I have yet to see this RA work as advertised.
You cast it and nothing happens. I've used it several times in large fights at the Mile Gates with no results.
Any other wizards out there get this expensive RA to work for them?

works for me, i've been using it all over the place with success, had solos, stealthers (sup stranded), whole groups walk into it. although i had some moments where i thought that it did not work, maybe it's not working right inside the milegates or i just did not notice it going off, will have to try that a few times more

It's a useless RA as it has falloff damage on this server. Live server does not have falloff damage. Either you run over it and trip it and get damage or you don't. How are you ever going to run over the exact center of the trap unless you drop down on top of it. Makes zero sense. You will always trip it at an outter edge of the radius.

I skipped both deathtrap and lava pillar (or whatever its called). Both seem like a waste of points. I'd rather point 10 points into crit or something that is used more than once in 15 minutes. DT might be 10 mins? still not worth it. And i think you lose speed when it goes off?

You cant even see DT on the ground or where your placing it as far as i can tell
