Almost certainly a sorcerer. Life Tap DPS, long range Mezz, Demezz, Pet for rupt, roots, etc. You can then easily add a cabalist for body debuff / lots of other utility & DPS in a great trio. Add a cleric for a perfect 4 man setup.
Although air theurgist could work you sacrifice quite a lot for not much gain. IMO.
