Cabalist RA progression

Hi all,

I’m playing a Minstrel and an infiltrator and figured a farm character would be a good idea. I’ve created a Cabalist for the purpose and I’m actually enjoying it quite a bit! Super fun class.

I’m running 46 matter, 28 body and 4 spirit for good farming capabilities and some RvR zerg/small group fun - which I’m quite happy with. But I’m struggling figuring out the best path for realm abilities.

For RR3 I’m currently at:

Longwind
Tireless
Serenity1
Purge1
Dex2
MoM2
MoA2
MoF2
WP2
PD2

I’m unsure if this is the right path, or if I’m spreading myself too thin. My plan next would be to get Purge2, then WP5 and then MoM5.

Opinions and suggestions are most welcome! Thanks.

It depends on what type of farming you are doing.

WP makes DOT/Kite farming harder since you have to wait for the last tick before you can refresh your DOT (stronger spell already active...), which can be really inconvenient.

WP is great for DOTs in RvR though.

I think you should focus your RAs a bit more, and get MCL for sure.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies, appreciated!

I farm just fine without any RA's, and I don't mind WP making me lose a few mobs once in a while. So my question is really what RvR RA's a Cabalist should take to excel when RvR'ing.

At a higher RR I'll probably go to a tri-spec or maybe even a body spec for maximum lifedrain damage once in a while, so I just want my RA's to reflect the best RvR option.

Thanks again.
