cab pets - Phoenix Freeshard

Melee dmg is half the melee dmg of necro pet.

Why? Either one needs boosted or one needs reduced.

Amber sim procs tons. Which is ok, if that is your intent.

Sapphire sim is extremely weak and almost never procs compared to live or valdomort.

Also go "here" means here, not fight a mob and move to where the cab is now.

Just logged in to check the sapphire sim and It still does not perform as well here as it does on live or on uthgard or as it did on phoenix.

I have reported it in bugs a few times and I reported it here 4 months ago.

Still not performing well. On every other server I ever played on the things would mow down yellows pretty well and the lifetap would keep the pet pretty well healed up.

Let me bump this months old post again.

Also, I don't recall another server where a mob hits the amber pet for 50% less than all other pets. The amber pets were more useful for tanks and so forth but they didn't reduce dmg by 50% due to a con buff as far as I recall based on playing a zillion cabs, many with spirit spec.

I don’t think using Live (as of 1.125) is a good reference for pets, since they improved pets by a huge margin 4-5 patches ago (aka the pet patch).

I played during 1.87 on live. I played for years on uthgard. I played origins. I played on phoenix. I can't think of any of those times or servers where the sapphire sim was this weak.

i tested very fast and he say true.

Amber take less damage not 50% but more like 15 20%
Sapphire proc are very very low and pet is really weak! even on 1v1 pet vs mob amber his like twice better than sapphire there is nonsense since sapphire is on other server and live the best pve leveling pet to chain mobs 1 by 1 and amber best to focus pull cause tanky...
i see a third problem but not on sapphire but Jade, jade don't proc his damage shield... very strange Jade is a pet without nothing on this server...

I just leveled to 50 on a toon here after the i50 to test. I am the only person to my knowledge to level from 1 to 50 solo since I-50 and after the 2 xp changes the devs put in to level requirements.

Cool. Think the lifetap percentage of hits returned may be a bit low.

I was wondering if the latest pet level changes would fix the sappy. I'm glad to hear that it is working better!
Last weekend I played my cab on that other server and was amazed at how much more effective the sappy is there than it is here. Granted my cab is only 41.5 there, but it is my goto pet and can handle multiple yellows due to life-tap. It's been so long since I played there that I had forgotten how fragile sappy feels here. I will log my cab here tonight and provide another few data points.

just tested again.

work really better. life tap proc more and seem to be upped a little sapphire can solo better and kill faster than amber now but take more damage
so it's more like it is originaly designed.

jade buff not working

Edit : i go create a bug on the tracker cause same probleme on midgard spiritmaster pet. spirit warrior only proc stun. no DD no lifetap

Tested the sappy at both level 50 and 41, in both cases it performed much, much better than before/ No objective numbers, but I was able to take multiple yellows at the same time and the simi was able to keep itself healed with life taps. Big improvement!

Didn't test the jade, though.
