Body sorc with MOF - Phoenix Freeshard

Hello,

What about small man/ BG sorc speced 46 body (DD, debuff assist), 27 mind (AE mez), with Master of Focus 6 to make lvl 24 mez be like a lvl 46 one?

Will the mez really work like a lvl 46 spell with MoF 6 regarding the resists?

Thats way too many points to invest into MoF.

MoF only effects the level in terms of the resist rate. Grun did a post on it at least once, and if you search for MoF you'll probably find it so you can know exactly what would change, but as Shintaki said, it's way too many RA points to spend on that effect.

Yes, regarding resistrate it would be considered a lvl46 spell (i didn't check the math, but in priciple you are correct)

Spell-Level + Player-Level / 2 + MOF .... so 24 + 50 = 74 / 2 = 37 -> you need MOF 4 to get a level 50 Spell ...

Just in case some pple tried this spec or have some advice playing sorc. Cause I already have a support class as main toon and I'd like to build a more vers toon now, since mind sorc is more supporting.

I believe that's not true, at least for rvr.
It is actually just 'Spell lvl+MoF'.
My lvl50 skald(MoF0) had 13.5% resist rate with lvl43 DD against lvl50 player. [10% base + {50-(43+0)}/2=13.5%)
My lvl50 reaver(MoF0) had 21.5% resist rate with lvl32 LT against lvl50 player. [12.5% base + {50-(32+0)}/2=21.5%)

So his lvl24 mezz with MoF6 will work as 24+(6*3)=lvl42 spell.

Idk exactly about pve resist rate, but pve and pvp has different formula.
At least that formula you linked doesn't fit pvp resist rates i've experienced ingame so far.

I dont see any reason to play body sorc honestly. Its quite bad.
