Alb needs leadership and vision.

I have the vision but not the leadership.

When the tasks are emain and there are 3 fgs of hibs and the albs are trying to 8 man or zerg but don't have a bg.

1. The 8 man takes the best players to leave the rest to die.
2. The solos and pugs feed the foes in these task choke points.

How will alb ever progress?

1. We need a leader to form a bg. I would do it but people hate me.
2. Tasks go in the order of /realm with alb then mid then hib locations.
3. Next time there 3 fgs of hibs in emain and we are supposed to take crauch it is time to go take beno. Then the hibs have to attack in 30 minutes when the tasks rotate.

ATM the hibs have Crauch, Bled, and Beno, and every task cycle rotates chum into those choke points.

If you can't see this clearly we can never win.

BGs would help for this as well. Even if not grouped, if someone in charged formed a battlegroup which you joined, the leader could tell people the next target keep, and info could be shared by all for location of the enemy and numbers, etc.

We need battle groups not 8 man groups. We need leaders not mindless zergs.

I'm still just waiting for them to make Paladins decent - just barely viable, even - for group RvR since that's all that can be played right now. Still nothing has been done to address the utility discrepancy(ies) of Paladins and alb in general.

So, what vision and leadership can compensate for that against shrooms and savages with celerity? This server, I think, widened the gap further by giving away the couple things (SOS) that gave Albion a leg up.

Alb caster groups are still pretty awesome. So roll a cleric, minstrel, sorc or cabalist and take charge.

I kind of feel like a huge buff to albion would be to improve the duration and/or range of Theurgist mezz to be similar to sorcs that way sorcs don't take one of the 5 mandatory spots in any albion RvR group which consists of Cleric, Cleric, Sorc, Minstrel by default. Making Theurgists an option instead of a sorc would go a LONG way towards improving Albion's melee group success and would create room to run a necro for AF debuff. So, as shown, increasing Theurgist mezz duration and range would be a gigantic improvement to alb without directly buffing any one thing.

Long story short, the point of all of this is to say that Albion needs a lot of help that no amount of leadership or vision can really address.

only need a good 1-3 8mans to make an impact imo.

Albs biggest asset to me has been its ability to randomly zerg and pull away wins against some really nice co-ordinated attacks.

That being said, i think its only a matter of time before this void is filled, however i agree it shouldnt be Relv, there were too many hate threads and accusations running around after your first DF raid. Good leadership means good communication. Thus why i think you may have the skill and experience, but missing some crucial parts as everyone shouldve known where loot was going and why, but no one seemed too.

In saying that, if youre reading this going "i bet i could help on that" get discord. If youre not going to speak in discord, you want to go for a zerg not something organised.

Im happy to lead, but due to my limited play time, im only getting maybe 2 hours a day and my first char isnt even 45 yet. Rest assured once he's 50 we'll be leading some good groups

Just because some forum ppl hate you, doesnt mean that you can't lead the other 99.9% of the albs... All kinds of ppl hate durrty, still he is managing the raids pretty fine.

Just wanted to say I've been a part of several BGs and one major issue I see is that only a small percentage of people seem to even look at the BG chat for instructions, and also that at best maybe 50-75% of people Zerging are actually in the BG. Most people just get a group (or form a guild group), stay in the group chat, and /stick until they see Hibs/ Mids/a Keep and then they suddenly run off doing whatever they think makes sense at the time.

For now I will happily volunteer myself to be a leader in what I believe to be a critical requirement for effective RvR BG management, the intelligence network.

Essentially a dedicated group of RvR stealthers who will work together to provide intel to Albion zergs regarding the whereabouts and movement patterns of opposing realms. It's something I've done in the past and I have seen good success when paired with a cohesive BG. It becomes especially useful when taking high level Keeps because you can get warnings way ahead of time when opposing realms are coming to defend.

Whoever wants to lead a BG feel free to reach out to me and we can coordinate our efforts.

I have played this game since dat df was introduced.. the so called elites(asshats with preprogrammed crap) wont ever lead or try to . this serer needs deletion. the qol is nice but rest just ruins the vision. its not 1.65 when you implement 2017 patch crap and adjust ra's to make casters the main thing.. Delete what ra's at whim..sryy this worst than Uthgard..they may be asshats but you guys fuking soooooo worse.

Apparently someone got banned for cheating and wants to take it out on the rest of us LOL.

Most of us love the QoL changes and the "vision" of the staff.
