ROG Upgrading - Phoenix Freeshard

One of the most asked questions is probably how to do the rog upgrades with dust/ash. Could imagine a brief description with some screenshots would come in handy.

Maybe with an table overview for the costs.

It’s easy to figure costs
There is different initial costs for
A. Resists
B. Stats

They increase +50% each component i.e. dust/ash
Each level

if I remember correctly
10 dust for stat/30 ash
30 dust for resist/90 ash

i know what the dust/ash costs are, and btw. it is not +50%, it is "dust = newstat * 5 + newstat ** 4 / 100", ash gets tripled and for resists all get additonally tripled. But the point is this is the "Wiki Suggestions" Section and how to upgrade rogs is one of more common questions in discord/advice. So why not make a page out of it.

It's something that is fairly straight forward but awkward to explain in game chat.

It definitely needs a pretty in depth section.

i think you used the old copy pasta in that post actually

i.e.

Example costs:
Level 51 rog, increase existing Strength from 1 to 2:
110 dust, Perfect fiery essence jewel, 330 Phoenix Ash

would be actually 10 dust, 30 ash instead currently.

Also i would suggest to add an picture with one of those crafting windows, maybe even with just 1dust/1ash/1gem and the log output in the chat window as another indicator how it is done.

I don't think we ever said the wiki was intended to be correct / for the benefit of the players :p

You can also just buy 1000 ash and 1000 dust and put it together with the gem, of and it will take what is needed.

Also cost is important I think going from 1% to 6% resists has a high cost, maybe around 5p if you use dust/ash price

1-6 Resists is actually very cheap. little over 1K ashe and about 300 Dust. So in hib thats about 2.5p in Ash and 1.2p in dust. But its basically free if you've been collecting and not selling. apart from the 30G per gem.

Likely not cost effective if you spend the plat on a higher end accessory and keep upgrading to a lower end

Following that logic nothing in the game has a cost attached to it at all.
Everything is free if you already have the plats
