The change to new frontier, rvr is far too spread out with so few players, if nf really was a vote, then i have to say the majority are very nice people (Edited by Uthred) if they would pick nf over of, it's not even a contest of which are better, it speaks for itself.
Removing feather trash drops so solo and small groups can no longer farm feathers for templates, they're forced to group or buy them from farmers in trade, not sure what you were thinking with this.
Sure they were forced to group anyway for credit, but still i would prefer if they removed the damn feathers alltogether, daoc for nearly two decades has always been about equal buffs and equal gearing, that is a core feature that made daoc what it was.
Don't even get me started on xp items or the lack of buff token merchants that last 30 min for small groups/stealthers/soloers, again the game just keep showing how group biased it is. Ohh i forgot we have crappy alch buffs, i better mention those before someone else does.
As others has stated here, you're a far cry away from being live servers now, in that case i choose live servers.
It has buff tokens, toa can be overwhelming but it's the best area to farm money in by far, i used to be one of the first minstrels to farm battler scrolls solo before they were dirt cheap, 10p each.

, so going on about in the forums how there's nobody playing anymore is a major turnoff. And it's simply not true: I've been playing since last summer-ish and the EU evening/early morning population has been the same every since (basically). Of course people might have left since beta etc., but whoever thinks that a freeshard of a 20 year old game could keep more than 1000 people engaged on a regular basis is somewhat deluded.
