XP Bonuses

Has there been any consideration giving to occasionally reset the XP bonuses to the full 500% perhaps once a week or every 2 weeks? Certain realms like Albion for example have a huge amount of humanoid/undead mobs, and even though the XP bonus would be rather short lived, it might be something to consider.

It's not meant to be that way. Overfarmed mob types will never have any bonus.
I never played Albion, is it really that bad with mostly only animals, undead and humanoid?

There are a few scattered insects/giants etc. But a lot more undead and humanoid than in the other realms

Maybe xp bonus need a rework : instead of dynamic bonus for the least hunted mobs why not a daily bonus/malus for a random type ?
Ex : day 1, 350% for undead, -50% for humanoid while other type set to 0%

This way you have more options to xp and you can switch spots every day 🙂

What I am wondering is...say everyone started farming nothing but insest/plants/reptiles...after a few days would undead/humans/animals start raising in xp bonus? I haven't really payed attention to see if it is or not.

if humanoids/undead/animals were not being farmed, or farmed at a slower pace, then yes, they would eventually start seeing a bonus

afaik it checks the total amount of farmed mobs and compared it to the total amount of farmed mobs of other types.

Since humanoids and demons were the best XPspots for the first weeks they amassed HUGE killnumbers, that are still not being matched by other types (especially since for goldfarming the popular spots are still just as good).
Plants though (for example) have already lost a lot of their bonus on midgard, since the endgame levelgroups switched from moderna to raumarik and started killing trees.
