Underpopulated BG Feather/RP Reward

Oftentimes Alb and Hib are getting RP bonuses due to less 50s in frontier, but their BGs are massive and Mid BG is small and overrun. This really is not a good incentive structure for the health of BG RvR.

Give a hefty feather / RP bonus to the realm with the smaller BG for taking/defending towers and keeps. One that incentivizes players to stick with the smaller BG rather than run off to farm, solo, small after a wipe. Let's use a common occurrence. Alb has 130, Hib has 120 on a Saturday EU prime. Mid has 45. This BG facing great odds should be earning an hourly rate of feathers at 6k+ an hour consistently similar to what you would get for doing Raum loops in PvE. If I am facing massive odds RvRing I should feel this is a good way to spend my time. This would also give the underpopulated realm less incentive to do an epic dungeon or dragon raid during prime time and stay RvRing which is the reason we are all here anyways. I understand gold and feather sinks for the economy, having RvR killed for 3 hours straight during primetime for PvE in an RvR game makes no sense to me. People do this because they have to for credit and feathers if they are new/poor. We don't have to make them do this. I don't know anyone that loves going on a 3 hours TG raid for the 5th time.

I have been a big BGer for awhile now with specs and RAs for BGs and I find myself slipping into the Mid small/8 mindset as time goes by because even speccing for BGs and getting higher RR does not save you from being badly outnumbered.

It seems the focus on balance for this server is around 8v8 meganerd metas. Why not put energy into incentivizing massive epic battles with nearly equal BGs? Everyone wins when those epic 3 way battle happen. 8 man can roam the perimeters and add on to big fights, solo and small can pick off stragglers, the people in BGs get what they signed up for and it builds realm pride. Win for all.

The only way this could work would be proximity-based bonusses, but those open up a whole nother can of worms and toxicity

Midgard does have an issue regarding zergwarfare that a small percentage of players that do RvR are intrested in that kind of gameplay. It has exacerbated in the last year with more and more players of that playstyle leaving for other realms where they can consistently join the BG. But that isn't something that is easily fixed by giving RP bonusses.
