UN -NERF ANIMISTS keep casting range

I stopped playing Phoenix..because of the nerf to animist casting range in keeps. Countless other classes have pets who go through doors and chase down those they target and kill them. Yet animists have been singled out for their ability to cast immovable pets who can easily be avoided by moving away. Yet this ability to for animist pets to be able to cast more that 3 spaces was taken out of the game when in keeps.

Three sounds like a good number to me..I've been away for three months because of this nerf...returned to see it still in place....so I'll be gone for at least three months again. I have tried to find other classes to play....hell I have 10 mid classes I have created and none satisfy.

I don't like the feeling this game now gives me.

did you even try it? because this was changed last week to be able to cast distances near keeps. You just cant put them on walls, there is a height restriction.

Last time i participated in RvR it even was possible for Hibs to place Shrooms on the center-keep on the main roof .. all they had to do was to cast the shrooms from the roof of an adjacent tower, so the height-restriction doesnt even prevent that.

Speaking of nerfing Animists.+ I play Ani + Bard. Just defended a tower and got so hard nuked by GTAOE there wasnt a single safe spot in the tower, coudlnt cast a single spell without MOC.

And that is through walls and 2 floors up. But 10 Shrooms that you can kill in 2 aoe nukes or even CC them is horrible in ppls eyes? Geeez. Fix the GTAOE or UnNerf animists. Cause working as intended Animists can put shrooms on walls, but now they cant, so why not fix Gtaoe while ure at it..

Sick of getting nuked by ppl who have great Groundset macros and just spamming in their safe warm enviroment

Go outside and kill the gtaoe casters...

I don't have anything to say about the troubles animists may or may not have, but comparing shrooms to other pets that can be sent through walls at keeps is crazy. You know what happens when you send your regular pet through a keep wall after some attacks? It insta-dies, and you're left wasting time and power recasting it instead of trying to kill your enemies.

This is also a weird comparison. GTAoE hits for basically nothing and the user has to be free to cast themselves in order to use it. In contrast, a stack of shrooms can melt people and don't require any further management by the caster once placed. The interrupt potential might be similar, but that's about it.

Again, I'm not saying that animist's are in perfect shape, because I don't know, but these comparisons are bad.

So ure saying its a waste of power? Like when you waste All your power bar to make shrooms, and someone lands 1 aoe mezz and they are totally useless? Or 2 Pbaoe and they are dead?

Gtaoe you cant escape if they are good, and ppl getting really good at it. Ppl often use 10 Gtaoers in 1 keeptake and often assist. Several times my whole grp have lost half health in just 1 boom cause they assist eachother and what not...

Animists again, if you rush in with a FG... a whole stack of Animist pets wont do a thing...

If it's also a waste of power to put shrooms on a ledge, then why does it matter if you can put shrooms on a ledge or not? Do you also want them to be un-CCable and un-killable or something?

My point about GTAoE is that it's a silly comparison: these are very, very different abilities that require much different counters.

no, he is saying stick to the fucking argument and don't make scapegoat comparisons

You even claim that GTAOE is a problem...and then argue that you want other things to become as problematic as GTAOE. What kind of backwards logic is that?
