First idea :

When the population is under 15 players in the whole bg
What about removing the guards and doors in thidranki central keep ?
I mean siege weapons are realy expensive for new players and when you take 1 hour to open the first door, it can be repair in 5 min ?! Oo
Not to mention all the bug abuse, like pets going through the doors and scoots shooting evering one with volley without be in view.
Just keep the xp/rp reward when you kill the lord to bring back people to the central keep.

Second idea :
Allow climb wall to stealthers to deter people to perman camp the central keep.

Third idea :
Mix the one and the second, remove only the second door and allow climb wall.

Also fix charmed pets like forest hunter who do not need LoS. Sorc and Mini just put those on defenders and your dead because you can't cast or see the forest hunter.

Here's constructive:

Siege weapons are not expensive, even for a first time player. However, since you're so resistant to the idea of leveling out of thid I can assume you're well aware the vast majority of people there are not new, the small fraction who are new don't have to be the ones to buy siege (even though it's cheap). I find it basically impossible that an attacking realm will struggle in any way to buy a couple rams if they have enough people to make a serious attempt.

Removing guards and doors at less than 15 players... of which realm? All 3? Only the defender? Only the attacker? Combined numbers from both realms that don't hold CK? What if the defenders have 3-4 and attackers have 10... you're going to take away their guards AND doors?? What if it's evenly matched at 5v5? Why remove the whole purpose of having a keep? On top of that you want climb walls? First of all you realize that would break thid more than a little volleying and second you should stop and think about how this HEAVILY favors alb since they have minstrels. "Hey let's worry about new players ooops we let these nearly RR3 assassins fuck your world up with no where to hide and also we took away doors and guards because fuck you I want those assassins to follow you everywhere." Can only imagine how pissed a legitimately new player would be to get to CK and find it 1000% useless.

The only thing I see that legitimately needs fixing that you mentioned is the pet pathing, and if you've been paying attention at all you know this is nearly (or entirely) impossible for them to fix or it would've been done ages ago on live and here. The rest is poorly thought out with no strong arguments.

Did you ever level toon in group to tidranki ? You would make about 100gold max on your char to this BG, if you buy few items on housing, then you buy for 35 gold a single ram or a catapult that you be destroy buy the opponent realm at frist wipe, do you think that i would buy another to make them laugh ?

Now you want to talk about new players ? for sure that after training a class in pve its very productive to learn a class to rvr without being reach in CK. And its even more interesting for them to skip thid to be destroy by the RR gap in NF , hey im 1L please kill me with your realm rank 11.

The only reason i see about your post when you say that climb wall would be bad is that you are H24 playing albion.

I have a thid toon, but I rarely play him and he's untemped.

Also, you suggested fixing the pet pathing issue, then when I agree with it you turn it around and imply it's a bad idea? Wtf even. Then to make it weirder I tell you climb walls will benefit alb the most and it's a bad idea partially because of that... but *somehow* that makes me biased and wrong? Because I don't want my own realm to get a potentially unfair advantage???

As for your money argument just re-read what I already wrote: it's a non-issue, a new player doesn't have to buy the siege. There will always be someone running around with 10p or more especially now that money is shared across all toons.

You didn't bother to address the rest of what I wrote so I assume you get it. If you'd like to elaborate on your own suggestions in a more useful way, I can be more properly constructive. But just saying "take away the keep doors and guards" and "climb walls!!" isn't useful. If you're going to make assumptions about me and my intentions I'm just going to assume you're a temped out assassin who just wants easy kills, because that's really who benefits the most from these proposed changes.

I'm not an assassin and i'm here to find solutions to balance the realm population. Each night watching a million albs camping ck when other realms are underpopulated is not realy fun for all.

First off, lol @ the idea of being RR3 somehow being any better than RR1 to fight RR11s...you're not going to beat them. They will be here to keep farming your arpees until the end of Phoenix.

Second, BGs are fun for the first ~2-3 months of a server...after that they just get weird...RR3 cap in Thid is helping that weirdness.

The most fun I had here was capping out of Cale after launch...originally 3L0...then reduced? to 2L4? Now thid is the old Cale cap? I dunno...I think it's fine for the last BG to be popular...like 42-47 Cale was on Uth2 for a year or so...people wanted RAs to actually compete (which 3l4 actually could w/ Old RA)...it's just weird to see ppl fill up the nub-BG and try for RR3 on a char that will get shelved before RR5.

We would roll PK when they were an actual 8 man on our sub RR3 albs. So saying a low RR can’t beat a high RR is a stupid argument.
