The CD/DW/ nerf...

The nerf to CD/DW that was supposed to result in CD/DW only cutting evades/blocks by 25% instead of 50%, like it has since the beginning of time..., seems to be too much or flat out broken. Assassins evade my Rangers attacks at least 50% of the time now, if not 60-70%, resulting in completely lopsided fights. Have any other dual wielders noticed that there's absolutely no benefit to CD/DW versus evades and blocks? I have, it's like there's no bonus at all now.

Same on my hunter thoop, saw between 43-48% of evade, impossible to land stun in sword , scd style always evade

Not really what I'm talking about since Hunters can't dual wield, but you have a legit complaint. Assassins evade way too much imo, it's ridiculous sometimes, seriously. A fix for everyone, Hunters included, would be to leave the CD/DW nerf in place and reduce assassins chance to evade... problems solved. They nerfed CD/DWs ability to reduce blocks and evades, so why not reduce an assassins chance to evade to compensate? That way things balance back out, and Hunters are less likely to get demolished by assassins and to a lesser degree Rangers.

That is "working as intended" with sword, 1h or 2h weapons gets evaded like mad.

Nerf evade so you need a lot more dodger to cap, and nerf slam so people spec shield for blocking and not 9 sec ease-mode.

Agreed. Right now any other stealther besides an assassin is completely unplayable without Purge and IP and it sucks. My Ranger stands 0 chance versus pretty much EVERY other class when purge and IP are down, so I'm forced to hide until they come back up. I won't be playing any archer when the server goes live if changes aren't made. Archers will be forced to stealth zerg to survive and that's not my style.

I was doing great on my Ranger before the gear wipe and I thought that Rangers were awesome, maybe even OP, but it turns out that I was just smoking buffless n00bs in epic armor the whole time 😅

The major problem with archers is that a large pop can just engage, and negate archer, and the rest can often run out of range since everyone has endo all the time.

I played hunter when NF launched, and it was rare targets managed to run away this easy.

True, I hadn't considered the unlimited endo. I posted in the beta-text channel on Discord one day about how I felt that the unlimited endo was throwing everything out of whack/balance, but nobody seemed to get it. Unlimited endo didn't just kill Paladins like people seem to think, it changed a ton of things, and has caused a bunch of chain reactions throughout the game that are causing imbalances all over the place.

Like Mids used to have a great thing with endo being a conc based buff, and they lost that advantage. Hibs used to only have endo during fights unless the bard twisted during fights, which most did not, so now they have speed and endo full time every fight etc. I could go on and on about how free endo messed everything up, but I won't, because it's not going to get nerfed because everyone is so in love with it and hooked on it already. You almost have to rework the entire games balance to account for the unlimited endo for all, like creating the game from scratch imo.

Was on shadowblade, and saw a solo pally so I wanted to test him.. dumbest idea ever lol... 40%+ block 40%+ parry I landed 2 styles, he blocked or parryied main hand every single time lol.. only damage I really did to him was swaping weapons with dots on them lol. Sb had two 4.2 spd weapons which im sure didn't help at all lmao.

you don't remember evading my slam 3-4 times in a row and destroying me hahah

Lol no, I don't, but evading that many slams would be a rare occurrence and not the norm.
