Tasks are in general too short - increase time to completion

Noticed several rotations where the task in Hadrians or a dominate task is done before groups and solos are able to coordinate to get there. This ends up causing a steady stream of solos and duos who in the mad rush get picked off by full groups and stealthers who wait in ambush. 1 death tends to make the task ucompleteable if the defending realm is zerging. It also promotes over playing of skalds and minstrels

Tasks were the biggest mistake this server added.

Also I don't want to be stuck in [edit - Language] pennine mountain any longer than I have to, I wish they would remove that zone from this task [edit - Language].

The 500 people in the task zone have another point of view.

Making them longer will just make RP gain even slower. You are still gonna get zerged down or run over by an 8man. Having more tasks in other frontiers would allow for players to complete the tasks more easily. The server needs better RvR than just zerging and 8 mans camping AMG.

Of all the problems this server has, the rp gain rate is not one of them. RR7s within 3 weeks.

If you make tasks longer then a lot of players will just be AFK longer. The issue is the repetitiveness of the tasks. 8mans roaming and zergs fighting at AMG for no purpose other than farming easy RP. Static and predictable RvR. Odins and Hadrians are no different than Emain. Hadrians is worse considering Albion barely attends. You can see why almost nobody RvRs outside of the task zone. There is no incentive to be in other zones.

This is where having short, mid and long term tasks would make a difference.

So the people can't coordinate fast enough to get there, but when they do there are others already waiting for them....how did those others get there so fast?

They ported in

I did tasks yesterday on my Firby Hero.

There is literally NOTHING slower in the game then my Firby hero...NOTHING. I am pretty sure other players that are only walking can move faster then when I sprint with hastener speed...

I would have made every task I tried to yesterday...total of 10 I tried to join, and only failed twice. I made 8.

The only reason I failed twice was because of a Mid group that was roaming the border and would kill me as I got close.

When they killed me I just solo XP'ed until the next task and easily made it.

If a Firby Hero can make these tasks SOLO, I really don't see a reason to make them longer.

Only on Phoenix does a solo hero make 12k rp for literally doing nothing of value for Hibernia.

So Hibs have fewer people online, but more of the population chooses to RvR...

Albs have more people online, but fewer wanting to participate in RvR...

Not sure if I am the one that doesn't get it...or just a majority of Alb players.

I love taking my Druid in RvR with my guild but I am trying to get my Hero up to 50 so I can start using him more which is why I am trying to get him some RR's now while I lvl.

Don't blame this on an underpopulation and "woe is me" because Albs aren't coming out. Hibs have had the fewest players online over the last week consistently and still manage to field more people in RvR a lot...sounds like a realm problem...
