Surprise! - Skoll's Sunstone Collar- Change

Could you please explain why the cast time was changed from instant cast to 3 seconds, or is this a bug. To my knowledge, and please correct me if I'm wrong, there are no other 3s cast timer on a DD charge in game. Please change the timer back to instant use! -

It seems cruel take this use with no warning? Albs have Bolt range mez , hibs have insta amnesia, this was a great counter to these. I had planned to template this item since beta, and even waited several weeks to finish my template in case of a change. Literally within 20 mins of finishing template i find that the timer has been changed to 3 second cast and when interrupted it resets charge timer (was functioning as expected last night). There were no notes/server notes/ or discussion around this, so I had no way of knowing about the change before spellcrafting TODAY. This was the bread and butter of many templates and part of our strategy to inc zergs/keeps/shrooms etc. This is a game changer and feels like a major troll on mid and myself.

Jorm daoc wiki's have been on the search all afternoon... and would like to see research and proof of this neck being 3 sec cast... use on interrupt... etc. Personally, very upset over a ninja nerf with NO PROOF reason to change on an item i specifically temp'd for. Thanks.

Really? Ninja Nerf? Come on.

Maybe we just made a mistake (yes, that happens to us too) and we did make something wrong? If you have the proof that this item shouldnt have casttime but instant cast, than go the usual way. Open a bug report, put all infos into it and we will check it and fix it (if wrong).

The added cast time makes the charge DD useless. A lot of players have used these items in their temps. If you use them in your temp they should be instant cast. It adds more skill to the game.

while it can be used to rupt a mezz cast, most people will probably use those to break speed of people which try to run from them
