Suggestion for the event

Many people are leaving group as soon as it is formed if they do not see the perfect set up that they want. There should be some sort of penalty for disbanding like a timed wait before being allowed to requeue.

And make the mobs lower level but put them in challenge mode or add casts to some of the mobs.... to easy to just dot kite it as it is.
