[Suggestion] Fix the event ck abuse

It is not an abuse. Easy fix: dont fight near the ck.

How is it not an abuse if you port back into ck while engaged in a fight and almost instantly port back to your mates to continue the fight? But ok, will use this method then as well, thank you.

That's why. Everyone can do it to save its ass so how can be an abuse if everyone is able to do the same?

Everybody could use shroom, necro or what ever abuse before as well and it's still an abuse. Everybody could use all the different exploits which were found in the game, they were still an exploit. Your logic has flaws.

Not everyone... Only animists or necros or other classes could use a class specific exploit. So your logic has flaws because the everyone you intend it's not everyone at all 🤷‍♂️

Thats why i said "...all the different exploits which were found in the game...", which affected all without being class bound. You probably missed this.

I said already OK. I just asked why it's not considered as an abuse and you did not answered to that. Saying "it's not an abuse" without going into detail is your right as dev, your server your rules, but i can still question them, no?

It's not an exploit unless it's against the rules. If uthred says it is allowed it cannot be an exploit anymore. The reason could be lots, but my theory is because they can't monitor everything all the time and have no interest in getting tons of Reports/Videos about people doing it, turning the event into even more work.
Afaik Grüns has already states somewhere that the eventmap will change which will remove that issue, so investing work into it now doesn't make sense

If they already plan to change the map, also to avoid this method, it's total reasonable. Not everyone is reading every thread in the forums or in discord, so imho it should be a habit of the devs to explain a answer other than "NO. PERIOD!". At least link to the thread where this is already spoken about and that the circumstances are known.

I understand tho, if devs are tired of answering questions again and again, but to counter this, simply make a FAQ thread sticky were the user can find answers to things like the event. For instance questions which occurred already in the past and have been answered in depth and devs don't want them to answer in new threads. But well, that's another topic.

Thanks too, but keep in mind that is just me making up a possible explanation for the reasoning. I could be completely wrong.
The reason for mapchange is also probably not just because of the keepporting, that being gone then may just be a sideeffect.

Uthred promising that now would lead to people screaming "you lied to us" should it be delayed or shelved too. I have done it myself too before trying to take a more mellow stance towards the server and changes. But it doesn't Help anyone and just creates anger

Someone told me today it ´s bugabuse to camp at the CK, he thought I was solo and told me to look for a group instead. He didn ´t know I was together with tanks and stealthers nobody wants in their nice fighting premade group. When you have no casters, no CC no heal in your grp and some ppl are upset these groups try to camp keeps or ck to have a lttle chance for progress in this event instead to be slaughtered openfield by fotm premade setup I can just say lol.

Good to know It ´s not bugabusing though, ppl shall think not everyone has access to a nicely set premade guildgroup etc. So nobody can blame ppl using some dirty tricks when nicefighting is not possible for them in this event /shrug.

There is nothing you need to monitor, especially not by checking reports/videos. All you need to do is to add a check that checks if you have been out of combat for xx seconds and/or if any enemy is next to you within a specific loc range. If not, you are getting teleported to the CK as its right now, if yes, the teleport function is not triggered and you have to keep running until the counter is down to 0 and/or you got away far enough from the enemy.
