High RR stalemating is a problem in the long run. How to deal with it?
Instead of hacking away some of our hard earned RRs by resetting them, we could create a periodical environment which strongly encourages players to play a new, low RR character.
> Every 3? 4? 6? months there could be a period of 1 week where you can create 1 free level 50.
> During this week there is no realm switch timer active.
> A basic barebones template will be available to get you started. Serious players can anticipate this week by making a full kit with pots charges and the likes.
> All characters under RR4 will gain +50% RPs. This bonus decreases gradually over the next few months till 0% before the next season.
Basically, for one week, the server turns into a pseudo i50 server (you can only do create ONE level 50).
This is not a perfect idea, but might be a starting point for further brainstorming. Lemme know what u think.
