Social System

Beta is still rather early, but here is an observation I have made.

The social system on paper seems really good, but I feel it promotes people to be introverted and brings nothing to table except an xp boost for soloers. Why would you really promote that on a game designed around cooperative gameplay. I spent like 2 hrs looking for a grp to xp with, but everyone was just soloing in a social grp and it made grp building expecially difficult. PVE classes benefit greatly as they get the bonus without the negative, but support classes suffer as their ability to kill mobs solo is already very low.

Personally, I do not think the social xp bonus should just be a blanket benefit to randoms in group. It should only benefit xp groups.

Aye, they’re working on tweaking it atm. What works for me is having a few toons rolled up for solo and group. I can play support/pve class when needed and solo if no groups are around

I get promoting groups and exp, but what if people (like me) don't have time to join groups for long enough to get value and I don't wanna be rude and bail?

This leaves me doing a lot of solo leveling which is fine, I enjoy it... but I don't enjoy it at a snails pace, that is just frustrating.

The infinite range on social group bonus feels like a nice feature in beta for me to get some bonus and still exp alone without feeling bad about having to leave.
