Shield block chance in rvr

Time to lift the max block rate,with the struggles of running visible here,and ever stupid stealther getting to decrease it further,i'd say it time to lift the block cap..
make shield specs somewhat viable for solo visible...sneaks will circle strafe you like there is no tommorow anyways no reason for the duel wield reduction cherry on top...organised rvr will hit you in the back anyways.
So please un nerf shield in rvr,sneaks had their cherry picking fun,stealth easylife with high dps and free pick of targets need to decrease.

uhh...what shield nerfs?

shield is already buffed afaik...the dualwield penetration of shields was nerfed by 50%

I really don't know how they have tampered with block/guard chance on this server but for sure it's not as effective as it was on live servers. I remember 2-handed players not landing a single blow whenever I was guarded while playing back then. Only mercs, zerks and BMs had some decent chance of attacking through guard, savages and assassins had too low weaponskill and even if they were dual wielding it would not really be a problem.

My guess is that they do not properly check weapon skill when calculating how much chance you have to block or they have changed something about the cap which makes the old formula broken.

that is a 50% reduction, even if the reduction of percentagepoints is 25 absolute

Block capped at 60% in rvr..thats the cap i want gone..60% cap means 35% vs dual wielders at best....that plus the finger breaking backpeddling to even get a block chance..or keep 60% and make it 340 degrees with a teenytiny narrow back opening.

hmm, the name "cap" suggests that it will be calculated last. so it's always possible to get 60%.
problem against dual wielders is that your base chance is reduced by 25%, so you would need to have more than 80% base block chance to hit the cap (0.8x0.75=0.6).

and who has that? maybe against some low lvl.
