Revert change to defensive pet behavior

A couple days ago, my pet started to attack any target that I started casting on as soon as I started casting when it was set to defensive. This is very rarely what I want when I set my pet to defensive. Usually, this just means that my pet is either going to run into a crowd of mobs or that I'm going to have to micro-manage it by repeatedly putting it on passive.

My suggestion would be to make pets set to defensive work just as they always have in (I think) every version of DAoC. I can see why they were changed, but I think the "auto-attack the target I'm attacking" behavior would be more appropriate for their aggressive stance, not defensive.

i had the same problem a few days ago...

it was fine, i could pull a mob with debuff, and send pet on it once the mob is out of the spawn.

Then suddenly it changed and i had to always put my pet on passive after pulling, to stop it from running into spawn when i debuff the mob.

And then later it returned to working normally

All within the same playsession and charlevel. No changes made.

I have no idea what is triggering it, but it is not permanently active custom change

Have no problems (lvl 34 ench) with my pet.
Passive - does nothing
Defensive - Attacks only when I get hit
It did never attack on its own on defensive mode when I start casting, I have to explicitly tell him to attack.

So maybe it's class related?
