Suggest to reverse the recent changes to the sprint function.

- It simplifies the game play in an unwanted manner.
- Remembering to sprint after a stun or CC etc when kiting/attacking is a basic part of the DAOC skill package.
- It encourages AFK while playing.

i agree, having perma-sprint is already far too easy to get and basically removes the sprint functionality (if it is always there, might as well up basicrunspeed and get rid of sprint altogether)

No, because you still need to invest some rps and spend cash or invite an endo classe.

Plus tanks need to manage their endo consumption.

Ist good. Leave it that way

uhh..i wasn't trying to push a change of increasing base movement...that was just a remark to show how ridicolous (imo) the current state is

1RP and a few gold, 2RP if you want to reg while permasprinting... imo that is "too easy"

- The change is intended to simplify an annoying mechanic.
-'Remembering to sprint' after a stun or CC is a gimmicky way to catch a nooby who would otherwise clearly be intending to sprint.
Think of that like this, you're in the heat of a bloody battle, people are taking damage and dying all around you, but in dark age of camelot, for whatever reason, your character assumes a jogging gate. Doesn't make much sense that you shouldn't be able to control your character's movement speed as you wish in an RPG.
-Basically the most important thing about the entire change is people can now get up to take a piss. I really don't know why catching people on an outdated mechanic outweighs the positive functions of the change in your opinion. With the availability of back snares in Classic, your Bard's insta amnesia, and the fact that there is no group cure disease, I really don't know why it would ever be hard for you to catch an enemy.

Wait what....?

"""Doesn't make much sense that you shouldn't be able to control your character's movement speed as you wish in an RPG"""
But you CAN control it, that's where the basic skill discussion comes into the picture.
Its a basic mechanic, same way as remembering to face when you cast spells or remembering to stick or get the right target etc.

This change is only appealing to the lowest possible common denominator and it is my opinion that this is the wrong way to go.

Edit: with the reverse i am not a happy Celt once again.
