Is it possible to change it so it overwrite what ever you got already on weapons?

if i got poisons already on weapons and wanna swap quickly i have to drag poisons onto the weapon manually (clicking poisons on qbar will not let you overwrite)

Yes its a pain trying to envenom weapons . Having to check which weapon has a poison on and which type, so easy to end up with wrong poisons on weapons or multiple weapons with same poisons on and having a poison missing entirely.
Please consider changing it so it overwrites.

as a noob that draws all his poisons manually...

how does using the quickbar work? Does it apply mainhand first then offhand?
Do i need to equip from mainhand1+offhand to mainhand2(in 2h slot)+offhand to apply the third poison to the mainhand2?

Put your poison on qbar, it will add on the first empty weapon and You dont know who. If both are empty it does mh then offhand

Because that way I can click through all my weapons after a fight and don't have to worry about overwriting stuff that is already on them, whether because I did not Hit with the weapon or didn't use it in the first place.

If it would overwrite every time I would waste poisons all the time.

I am very happy with how it is right now

but wouldn't you run into problems with the wrong poison being applied to the respective weapons?

aka you click lifebane to poison your lifebane weapon, but since there is already lifebane on it, the next weapon is not applied with lifebane. When you then press (for example) desease, the desease weapon already has lifebane and desease goes onto the next one....etc....

I always repoison my pa weapon on my back and my offhand first, both of which I am sure have been used in the previous fight because I always only swap my right hand slot, never my back slot.

After that I can switch through all my backups and click the poisons accordingly without having to worry about applying the wrong stuff

Fair enough, though the cost is minimal, and would not be something that would concern me overly much. But I take your point.
